Continuing and Welfare Powers of Attorney.
Power of Attorney
Sometimes, often when people get older, a situation can arise when an individual or perhaps their relatives realise that they are beginning to struggle with their financial arrangements. A Power of Attorney is a document that enables someone to give power to someone else to look after their affairs and sign documents on their behalf. We can give full advice regarding and prepare Powers of Attorney.
Guardianship
If a person, who has not already signed a Power of Attorney, loses their mental capacity then their affairs must be looked after by a Guardian who is a person appointed by the Court and supervised by the Public Guardian’s office. We have acted as and advised Guardians to such persons and can advise fully on all aspects of the process.
